Ashlee Wilson Quinn
Ashlee Wilson Quinn is the morning anchor for WNKY News 40 NBC and CBS, where she wakes up with Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky every weekday morning on News 40 Sunrise and News 40 @ 9.
A proud graduate of Western Kentucky University, Ashlee began her career in New York City with RWS Global, working in theme park entertainment, fashion line reviews, and corporate events. During her time in the performing arts industry, she performed at Carnegie Hall and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting on NBC.
After three and a half years in New York, Ashlee returned home to Bowling Green, bringing her experience in performance and marketing to organizations including the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. She later joined the Bowling Green Hot Rods, where she rose through the ranks and made history in 2023 as the franchise's first female Assistant General Manager.
Today, in addition to anchoring the news, Ashlee consults in marketing and advertising, as well as community engagement and brand awareness. She is deeply engaged in the community, serving on the boards of Arts of Southern Kentucky, Barren River Area Safe Space, and the Boys and Girls Club of Bowling Green, while also supporting the Center for Courageous Kids and the Hospitality House.
A frequent emcee and performer with the Ramsey Theatre Company, Ashlee continues to lend her voice both on stage and in service, committed to elevating the people and stories of South Central Kentucky.
